What is the purpose in Missions at Atlanta Road Alliance Church?
We believe everyone has a role in missions, as senders, givers, pray-ers, and goers. To that end, we have a two-fold purpose in our local body. We desire to maintain a global focus, enabling individuals to see God working to bring people to Himself and glory to His Name in diverse ways and places. Secondly, we want our church to feel ownership of particular works in order to identify with and claim responsibility for specific parts of God's work through partnerships with two countries, the
Short Term Missions
We are committed to being a sending church, a church where our children, youth, and adults sense the call of God to full time missionary service. We seek to send several domestic short term missions trips from the church each year. The purpose of these trips is to impact our church, both as senders and goers, and to aid the receiving churches or organizations.

Missions Conferences
Each year we hold two missions conferences. The annual missions conference is a week long event held in early February. Three missionaries serving with the Christian & Missionary Alliance come to share about their cross-cultural overseas missions work. The purpose of the missions week is to increase our awareness of global missions, connect with the work of individual missionaries, learn specific ways to pray for the spread of the Gospel, have an opportunity to give to the Great Commission Fund, and understand the call of God on our lives regarding world missions.
Our Fall Missions Weekend focuses on some aspect of our two partnership countries, so that we can increase our connection with these fields. During this three day missions awareness conference we hear from missionaries serving within their field.
