Safe Place

We believe that children are one of our greatest gifts from God, and as such we desire to provide a "safe place" for them to grow in their relationship with God.  Atlanta Road Alliance Church has policies in place to help ensure the emotional, mental, physical, and especially spiritual safety of our children.  All of our approved ministry workers who work with minors are screened and are background checked.

Nursery is provided for infants through children age three during our 11:00 worship service, and during the 9:30-10:30 Sunday School hour.  During the Sunday School hour, a lesson is taught to the "twos and threes" children. Sunday School classes take a summer break during July and August.

Sunday School

Sunday School is presently offered during the 9: 30 - 10:30 a.m. hour on Sunday morning, except for summer break during July and August.  Children will have the opportunity to learn from God's Word, engage in fun interactive activies, and learn and how every story points to Jesus Christ.  The classes offered are broken down in the following age groups:

Preschool (toddlers - age 4)

Adventures (age 5 - grade 1)

Discovery (grades 2 & 3)

Explorers (grades 4 & 5)

Velocity (grades 6 - 8)

Please visit the Information Center in the main lobby to find out where the locations for these classes will be!

Children's Church

Children's Church is provided for children ages 4-5th grade during the 11:00 service.  Children begin the worship hour in the sanctuary with their parents and go to Children's Church mid-way through the service.

A.W.A.N.A. (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.  It is held weekly on Wednesday's, from 6:30 - 8: 25 p.m., and is a fun, interactive, gospel-focused, Word-centered experience for the children!  Students earn badges and awards as they memorize verses from the Bible and complete activities both in the classroom and at home.  In Small Group Time, students work with caring adults to learn their verses and complete activities.  Large group time provides children with the opportunity to worship and hear a lesson from a special speaker.  Game time is just plain fun for kids as they compete to earn points for their teams.
