The mission of ARAC is to grow in our capability and willingness to LOVE God, LOVE each other and LOVE the world around us that does not yet know Jesus.
LOVE GOD
"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." (Mark 12:30)
To be transformed in Loving the World is to embrace the purpose of the church and followers of Jesus to make disciples. This begins by connecting with people who do not yet know Jesus. Kingdom growth only happens through Christ’s people sharing the good news of the gospel.
LOVE EACH OTHER
"And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:39)
"A new commandment I give to you, that you would love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all peoples will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:34-35)
"A new commandment I give to you, that you would love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all peoples will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:34-35)
To be transformed in how we Love Each Other is to live to the incredibly high standard of relating within the church that Jesus modeled and commanded. When we are transformed here, it demonstrates our relationship with God to the watching world.
LOVE THE WORLD
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
